Project Manager
KWS Keys Welding Service Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager located at our facility in the North Corman Industrial Park. The individual we are seeking will have the exceptional ability to manage multiple projects from estimation to completion. They will be able to coordinate professionally between customers and our team to ensure exemplary customer service.
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide overall project management for multiple projects.
- Oversee multiple projects from bid to completion.
- Ability to quote several bids and projects simultaneously.
- Prepare tender documents.
- Control budgets
- Identify and resolve conflicts and create contingency plans to mitigate risk.
- Review and comment on internal shop drawings.
- Manage contractor site meetings, RFIs, and control change orders.
- Work in collaboration with customer to project completion.
- Monitor in conjunction with manager, shop foreman and site foreman, a project’s material and labor costs for efficiency and optimal customer satisfaction.
- Maintain positive working relationships.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in project planning and estimating supply and installation of
structural and miscellaneous steel projects. - Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
- Expert knowledge of fabrication practices
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver’s License/ability to attend job site meetings.
