The Accounting Manager manages the day-to-day accounting and payroll transactions for the STC Industrial Group of Companies. The Accounting Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing accounting procedures, practices, records, and principles to ensure timely and accurate financial information.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Controller with workflow process improvement and special projects.
  • Collaborating with direct reports to determine objectives and goals for each year and advising on progress to enhance staff professional development.
  • Oversee all accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll transactions.
  • Assign responsibilities, provide guidance, and support, and conduct performance evaluations of clerical staff.
  • Mentoring and coaching accounting staff to optimize performance.
  • Ensure the team’s effectiveness and productivity while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of features and procedures to enhance the accounting department’s workflow.
  • Ensuring members of the clerical accounting team to meet
  • Monitoring and analyzing the accounting department to develop more efficient procedures and proper use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce accurate financial reports.
  • Coordinate the preparation of documents and analysis for annual audits.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in financial practices, adhering to professional codes of conduct.
  • Other duties needed to help drive to our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values.

Education and Experience:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Proficiency with various accounting software programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to meet all assigned deadlines.

Project Manager

KWS Keys Welding Service Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager located at our facility in the North Corman Industrial Park. The individual we are seeking will have the exceptional ability to manage multiple projects from estimation to completion. They will be able to coordinate professionally between customers and our team to ensure exemplary customer service.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide overall project management for multiple projects.
  • Oversee multiple projects from bid to completion.
  • Ability to quote several bids and projects simultaneously.
  • Prepare tender documents.
  • Control budgets
  • Identify and resolve conflicts and create contingency plans to mitigate risk.
  • Review and comment on internal shop drawings.
  • Manage contractor site meetings, RFIs, and control change orders.
  • Work in collaboration with customer to project completion.
  • Monitor in conjunction with manager, shop foreman and site foreman, a project’s material and labor costs for efficiency and optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain positive working relationships.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in project planning and estimating supply and installation of
    structural and miscellaneous steel projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings and specifications.
  • Expert knowledge of fabrication practices
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Driver’s License/ability to attend job site meetings.

KWS Keys Welding Service Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Night Shift Fabricator located at our facility in the North Corman Industrial Park.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
  • Responsible for accurately filling out process sheets daily logs as project documentation is required.
  • Performing first level of quality control.
  • Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite.
  • Accurately lay out the work piece for fitting of components for, drilling or punching of holes, bending of plates and material edge preparation. (Chamfer, Bevel, Flame Cut, Plasma)
  • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
  • Maintain safe working place by using safe work practices.

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Fabricator
  • 3-5 years experience
  • CWB Ticket, SMAW, GMAW, All Position, and SCOT Training.
  • Highly motivated, providing exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Well organized and possess great attention to detail in order to produce high quality work in a fast paced environment, while ensuring proper safety standards are met.
